Appearance:
Shayne has extremely gray eyes, full of expression, always slightly slanted closed. They change with her mood, a slight discoloration here and there. When angry they're near black, and when happy very lightly shaded. Near the pupils, her iris' appear to explode outward.
Her ever changing eyes are always surrounded by black or some other color, contrasting very much against her extremely pale skin. She has a very defined heart shaped jawline, as well as full and pouty lips. Shayne's frame is thin, but slightly muscular. Her strength is normally underestimated. Fingers are long and thin, her feet are large for a girls, but not too much so, at a size 9.
Shayne loves dying her hair and doing a lot of different things with it. One day it will be long and black, the next in bright pink dreadlocks, then shorter and blond and black. You never know what you'll see when it comes to her hair. Expect the unexpected.
Shayne's clothes change more often her hair. [we would all hope so, right? ] Most of her attire is black, but there are many other colors that can be found in her closet. Converse and vans are the most abundant brand of shoe she owns. She has an old leather jacket that was given to her by a friend. As well as rings, necklaces, and bracelets that she never takes off.
Personality:
Aggression. The most important thing to know about Shayne. Her temper. She is normally easygoing and quiet, but when set off is not afraid to get in your face. When challenged, she will not back down, no matter the consequences. She's always been a good fighter, and very balanced [when fighting]. She appears to be a fragile girl, but she holds herself very well and doesn't let anything crush her.
Silence. When her temper isn't getting the best of her, Shayne is normally very quiet. She's always been a bit distant, yet has always been a big people person. People adore that she is understanding and forgiving, once her temper has passed. She has always been the listener, the fixer, the protector. Never needing anyone to fix her, or protect her, for she's always done that for herself.
Drugs. Shayne has experimented with drugs and alcohol, but has never become addicted. She uses them from time to time, but never gets smashed or too screwed up. Being in control is something she is not willing to let go of, especially of herself.
Happiness. Also when her temper is not getting the best of her, she's very happy. She doesn't need anyone else in her life besides her friends to make her happy. When she's happy she just goes with the flow, doesn't let too many things get to her. She is always trying to make things better for the ones she cares about, sometimes forgetting about herself. After seeing when she's forgotten about herself, she seems conceited, but is only doing the same thing for herself that she's done for so many others.

History:
Born in LA, Shayne was raised in a trailer park until the age of three, when her parents split, and her mother moved her to Erie. Until the age of 16 she lived with her mother, cleaning up after the men she brought home, the bottles left on the floor, and all of the other stuff she was ordered to do. When she was 16, she moved back to LA to be with her father. He ended up ditching her in the trailer after one year, and she hadn't heard from him since. He had just packed up all of his things and left. There was nothing to stop him. Shayne had pretty much raised herself by that time. He'd already made her get a job, and she'd just bought a beat up truck. She then had to start paying the rent if she wanted to stay where she was. The papers saying she was permitted to live on her own were on the kitchen table of the trailer, signed and ready to go. That was the only useful thing her father had ever done for her.
In her absence, Shayne's mother had another baby. A baby boy. Slaye Sikk. He was one year old when Shayne's father had left her alone. Shayne never knew, for she had never talked to her mother. Two years later, after Shayne had found a somewhat nicer apartment with the money she had from her job, she called her mother. Christianna was still in the same house. If you could even call it that. Shayne found out about the baby, that her mother had barely raised. He was very ill. Shayne made her way to Erie as soon as possible, willingly taking the three year old child from her mother.
As a big sister, for a year she had raised him as her own child. His sickness had been cancer. He'd had it for a year. One of his kidneys had grown cancerous cells, and was ready to spread throughout the rest of his body. Shayne had taken him to the hospital, the cancer was taken out, and the only thing they could do, was hope it didn't come back.
Another year passed, and Shayne had found an open shop in The United Kingdom, after moving there with the finiancial help of her grandmother. She was going to turn it into a small bakery. With her little brother, she moved to the UK, where she now lives. In a desperate attempt to raise him, make money, and have her own life, she is trying to find her old friend Madeline.

Shayne sighed, falling back wards onto the sand. She'd been sitting with her arms over her knees, watching the water. Her shoes were in danger of filling with sand, but she didn't care right now. They were black slip on vans with neon streaks. Of course they were half covered by her black jeans. She always wore longer jeans because they were comfy. A studded belt held her jeans onto her slim figure, a black bikini top covering her chest, under a half zipped Beatles hoodie.
As Shayne fell back on the sand, her eyelids slammed shut, nearly blinded by the bright clouds. Even though it was only a bunch of gray clouds, they were pretty bright. The heat was alright though. She sighed, glad that she'd had her hood up before she fell back wards. Her bright pink/red/orange hair fanned out to the sides of the hood, which made her laugh. She must've looked like a psychedelic lion. "I am so glad that the kid has friends." She said to herself quietly, not daring to open her eyes.
Shayne was talking about her little brother, Slaye. He was over at a friends house nearby right now, probably playing Pokemon. Even she still played Pokemon, but that was besides the point. Another day free, made her very happy. She loved the little booger, of course, but it was always good to have her own time.
